About Us

The Anti-Human Trafficking Cell, established in the year 2020 in Satara district, is functioning at the local crime branch.

Procedures of the Anti-Human Trafficking Cell-

1. The Anti-Human Trafficking Cell conducts special investigations into the cases filed under Section 363 of the IPC in Satara district police station.

2. Finding child laborers, begging children and cracking down on gangs that motivate them to beg.

3. Detecting gangs transporting children from foreign countries and taking action against them.

4. To detect and take action against gangs transporting women / girls / children for the purpose of prostitution.

5. Hotels and lodges are inspected and prosecuted under the Prevention of Anti-Human Trafficking Act, 1956.

6. Coordinating with the Department of Women and Social Welfare, the Department of Labor and social organizations working for women and children, and working for women and children.

7. Finding the parents of orphans in the observation house.

8. To take action in case of prostitution in Kuntankhana, Lodge.
