Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad is working in Satara District Police Force. It's main object is prevention from explosive. It makes anti sabotage checking during the VVIP / VIP visits, valuable / Public or Crowded places. B.D.D.S. is used to prevent terrorist activities (to neutralise an I.E.D.’s).It investigates any suspicious bags / material / unobtainable items and removes them.
